Toddlers Program (18 months to 36 months)

Our Toddler program supports children as they become more independent, curious, and expressive. We nurture a growth mindset, which means helping children believe they can learn through practice and persistence. We also support strong character through play, relationships, and everyday experiences.

We focus on developing learning skills and values, supporting children to grow with confidence, kindness, and resilience.

Our approach:

1. Building a Growth Mindset

2. Developing Character and Emotional Intelligence

3. Encouraging Independence and Problem-Solving

Building a Growth Mindset includes:

We focus on effort and persistence, praising children for trying rather than only “getting it right.

Mistakes are welcomed as learning opportunities, helping children develop confidence and resilience.

Developing Character and Emotional Intelligence includes:

Educators use meaningful language to describe character traits such as kindness, curiosity, honesty, and courage.

Children are supported to recognise and name their emotions, building self-regulation. Self-regulation means the ability to calm down, wait, and manage reactions.

Educators model respectful, compassionate behaviour every day.

Encouraging Independence and Problem-Solving includes:

Toddlers are encouraged to help tidy up, make choices, and take part in simple routines.

Educators involve children in solving small daily challenges, building thinking skills. Thinking skills means making sense of problems and trying solutions.

Stories and group experiences help develop language, empathy, and social skills.

Program highlights:

Play-based learning supported by gentle, consistent routines

Language and social development through songs, stories, and interactive play

Hands-on sensory and outdoor experiences

Strong focus on kindness, sharing, and positive relationships
