Hi, I’m Kemi, the Owner and Centre Manager.

With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education and leadership, and as a mum of three, I deeply understand how important it is for families to find a place where their child feels safe, loved, and truly known. These experiences have shaped both my professional journey and the heart behind TORCEL.

At TORCEL, our philosophy is grounded in Christ-centred values, high-quality practice, and genuine care for every child. We believe children thrive when they are nurtured with love, kindness, compassion, and consistency, within an environment that upholds excellence in education and wellbeing.

We warmly welcome families of all backgrounds. Our Christian faith is expressed through values-based care and age-appropriate practices, including stories, songs and celebrations. We do not pressure children or families.

Our programs from Babies through to Pre-Prep are thoughtfully designed to support each stage of a child’s development. Through responsive relationships (educators notice and respond to each child’s needs and cues), purposeful play, and intentional teaching (educators plan experiences on purpose to extend learning), we nurture curiosity, confidence, emotional intelligence (understanding and managing feelings), and strong character. We focus not only on how children learn, but who they are becoming.

Partnership with families is central to everything we do. We work closely with parents to support each child’s unique needs and to align care and learning with family values. Together, we lay strong foundations that support children to grow, learn, and flourish now and into the future.

I have seen firsthand the powerful impact of faith, nurturing relationships, and high-quality early learning, both in my own children’s lives and in the many families I have served over the years. It is my privilege to lead a centre where children are cherished, guided, and prepared to thrive.
