As a team, we strive to provide families with excellent facilities and resources in line with our commitment to high-quality early learning and care. Our centre provides a modern, age-appropriate early learning environment in a secure, nurturing setting that reflects Thrive on the Rock Christian Early Learning values.

Our focus is to promote the environment as a “third teacher” (this means the spaces and materials are thoughtfully set up so they naturally encourage learning, independence, and positive behaviour) and to continuously follow best practice (this means we use proven, up-to-date approaches in early childhood education). From our baby nursery to our kindergarten rooms, it will be a home away from home.

Our values are communicated through our environment, with spaces purposefully designed to support our curriculum (what children learn and how we teach it). We also consider children’s individual learning styles, strengths and interests. We use carefully selected educational resources to support each child’s learning journey.

We place great emphasis on bringing natural elements into our facilities and connecting children to outdoor environments rich in natural materials and vegetation. We also build sustainable practices into daily routines to

encourage a love for the outdoors. Sustainable practices are simple habits like caring for plants, reducing waste, and respecting nature.

The safety of children is paramount. We follow clear safety procedures and maintain our buildings, equipment and play spaces to support a safe environment for your child.

Our centre design is informed by OHS advice (occupational health and safety guidance that supports safe spaces and safe movement). It includes:
